Major urban projects in Yunpu Street show progress

Three major urban redevelopment projects on Yunpu Street, in Guangzhou's Huangpu district are making progress, with significant milestones achieved.

The completion of Phase 1 of the Huocun redevelopment project marks the beginning of construction on resettlement housing. Additionally, the second phase of the Huocun project and the Honggang redevelopment project have commenced. 

The Huocun project aims to create a modern community by introducing health service industries and is set to deliver 2,260 housing units this month. 

The Honggang project aims to develop a livable community that integrates residential and commercial functions. These redevelopment efforts are expected to boost the regional economy, with a total investment of 81.5 billion yuan ($12.62 billion). Currently, construction is underway for all 13 projects, gradually transforming the area into a more livable cityscape.
