Huangpu district approves Xiasha village urban vitalization plan

Huangpu district recently approved the implementation plan for the vitalization of Huangpu Street's Xiasha old village. 

Located in a crucial area of the Huangpu Lingang Economic Development Zone, the project aims to create a diverse urban complex with a total planned construction area of approximately 396,200 square meters. 

The redevelopment plan encompasses a reconstruction area, a resettlement area as well as a financing area. All of which include residential buildings, commercial spaces, and public facilities. 

The project's industrial positioning will focus on establishing a smart city hub and a digital economy innovation center that will contribute to the enhancement of Guangzhou's image as a hub for the Maritime Silk Road. 

Additionally, Huangpu is actively advancing its urban renewal efforts, aiming to approve 20 projects this year and accelerating the construction of resettlement housing projects and supporting public facilities. 

These endeavors highlight Huangpu's commitment to high-quality development and will lead to a noticeable transformation of the district's urban landscape.
