Guangzhou Transportation University project advances in Huangpu district

The Huangpu campus of Guangzhou Maritime College will expand its campus size and be transformed into Guangzhou Transportation University, with a total investment of nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion). 

Guangzhou Transportation University will cultivate application-oriented talents, who are disciplined in sea, land, air, and rail transportation. The university will also create distinctive and influential disciplines and majors. It has been included in the Guangzhou 2023 Key Construction Preparatory Project Plan.

The project is located in the southern part of Huangpu district, east of Longtou Mountain, south of Dashadi East Road, west of Jingye Road, north of Zhuangyuan Mountain, and adjacent to Metro Line 5's Shuanggang Station (currently under construction).

After completion, Guangzhou Transportation University will provide strong intellectual support for the future development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
