Huangpu district opens 1st tech-themed library

Guangzhou's Huangpu district has recently opened the Development Zone West Branch of the Huangpu District Library. 

Located on Qingnian Road, the branch is Guangzhou's first technology-themed library in the east. It covers an area of 4,080 square meters, has 650 reading seats, and boasts a collection of 100,000 books and documents. 

The branch has undergone a comprehensive upgrade and now includes smart bookshelves and virtual reality technology to provide intelligent services, such as book retrieval and 3D virtual navigation. 

The library also features various reading areas, as well as a digital exhibition hall, digital reading area, VR/AR experience area, and children's digital projection interactive area. 

In the future, the branch will focus on emphasizing science popularization activities and intellectual property rights services to become a high-quality technology-based library in Guangzhou.
