Updated : 2023-04-28

To celebrate the 23rd World Intellectual Property Day, Huangpu district in Guangzhou held a copyright protection-themed study tour on April 24. It also held the launch ceremony for Guangzhou's first copyright-themed tram on the same day.

The special tram, themed "Copyright + Anim," departed from Xiangxue Station and ended at Yonghe Xinfeng Road Station. It passes through densely populated and widely covered central areas around Huangpu, and will continue to operate for six months.

The tram's body is adorned with copyright protection slogans and popular animation images, including the well-known Super Wings IP from Alpha Group. The carriages are decorated in shades of deep blue and are combined with Guangzhou's urban silhouette to create a romantic atmosphere. Posters and videos promoting copyright protection are also displayed on the tram to raise passengers' awareness.

The copyright-themed tram has 10 carriages, each decorated with different animation elements such as Boonie Bears, One Piece, and The Three Thousand Whys of Blue Cat. With this tram, passengers can enjoy animation elements, learn more about Guangzhou's efforts to protect copyrights and experience the unique culture of Huangpu district.

During the event, Huangpu also released its first copyright-themed promotional film, In Search of Huangpu Copyright IPs. The film showcases Huangpu's beautiful natural scenery, rich cultural heritage, and thriving business environment from the perspective of a copyright volunteer. It uses lively rap music to promote Huangpu's copyright policies and industry development. The film calls for people to protect copyright at the grassroots level.
