Huangpu excels at investment conferences with major projects, unicorn enterprises

The 9th China (Guangzhou) Annual Investment Conference and the 2023 Global Unicorn CEO Conference were held on April 18 in Guangzhou's Huangpu district. 

Huangpu showcased its strong investment attraction at the conference, reporting that so far, it has signed a total of 105 contracted projects with a total investment of approximately 200 billion yuan ($29 billion). This is the largest number of contracted projects among all the districts in Guangzhou, and among the top in the city in terms of investment. 

Of the projects to settle in the district, two are considered major projects: the Sino-Russian Helicopter Industrial Park project, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Huangpu) Medical Technology Innovation Base project.  

In addition, seven Huangpu-based enterprises were selected as part of the 2023 Global Unicorn Index. 

Huangpu will continue to increase investment in the Greater Bay Area, promote high-level opening-up measures, and expand its global "circle of friends" to create new investment opportunities.
