Huangpu to build world-class landmark business circle

In order to build the Guangzhou International Financial City-Huangpu Bay Business Circle, Huangpu will promote key projects such as the construction of Poly Yuzhu Port, the reconstruction of Xinxi village, and the construction of the Guangzhou Huangpu Free Trade Zone.

Huangpu will help build Guangzhou into a digital technology-led international consumer city by utilizing the strengths of its new-generation information technology industry.

To achieve digital transformation and enhance consumption, Huangpu will cultivate new consumer industries such as digital entertainment and gaming software. It will also support the development of new business formats such as the sharing economy, the platform economy, and live e-commerce events.

Additionally, Huangpu will support the transformation of the business districts in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, and Guangzhou Science City. It will also promote Guangzhou International Bio Island as a bio-science and innovation cluster.

On March 8, Guangzhou began implementing its development plan to become an international consumer center. 

The plan states that Guangzhou will build a comprehensive business district layout system, which will include five world-class landmark business districts such as the Guangzhou International Financial City - Huangpu Bay Business Circle.
