Huangpu's 2023 Hong Kong and Macao youth social practice activities are currently soliciting internship positions from enterprises.

The government will provide internship subsidies, and enterprises have the opportunity to be awarded the title of "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Social Practice Base."

This campaign was included in the annual Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area work priorities in Guangzhou's Huangpu district.

This internship activity is open to State-owned enterprises, top 500 global enterprises, top 500 Chinese enterprises, top 500 private enterprises in China, top 500 enterprises in Guangdong, top 100 private enterprises in Guangdong, unicorn enterprises, and industry-leading enterprises in Huangpu district.

A total of about 1,200 internship positions suitable for university students are being solicited, covering executive, human resources, operation, planning, marketing, and consulting positions.

The internships should be one month in total and take place from July to August this year.

Internships will be available for Hong Kong and Macao college students studying in the 2022 to 2024 period, with all applicant enterprises having to go through the application review and two-way selection processes.

During the internship, enterprises are responsible for providing pre-work training and logistical support, including, but not limited to, providing a lunch subsidy of at least 40 yuan per day on weekdays, a desk, and office supplies for Hong Kong and Macao interns. In addition, enterprises must arrange at least one professional tutor to guide the student interns.

In order to support the integration of Hong Kong and Macao youth into the Greater Bay Area, as well as to attract Hong Kong and Macao youth to come to Huangpu for their professional development, Huangpu organizes a variety of activities to bring young university students from Hong Kong and Macao to the district to participate in research, study, and internship activities every year.

As of 2022, the social practice activities for Hong Kong and Macao youth in Huangpu have been held for four consecutive years. They have attracted more than 300 Hong Kong and Macao students from mainland universities like Tsinghua University and Peking University, well-known universities in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan like the University of Macao, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan, as well as top 100 universities in the QS World University Rankings like the University of California and the University of Washington.
