Huangpu promotes its beauty industry

The Huangpu International Beauty and Health Industry High-quality Development Activity Week (hereinafter referred to as "Huangpu Beauty Development Week") was launched in Guangzhou Science City on Feb 20.

At the launching ceremony, the administrative committee of Guangzhou Development District and the Macao Youth Innovation International Group signed a framework agreement on the high-quality development of Huangpu's beauty and health industry.

According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate to promote international brand cultivation, investment attraction, the transformation of scientific and technological innovation achievements, talent exchange, and cooperation, to accelerate the high-quality development of the beauty industry through innovation and capital investment.

At present, Huangpu is promoting the integration of technological innovation from Huangpu's beauty industry and intelligent manufacturing from Macao's international trade sector. This will help Huangpu's beauty industry to go global.

Huangpu will strive to form a group of world-leading beauty brands by 2024. The district will also cultivate one to two leading beauty companies which will have annual revenue of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.46 billion).

Huangpu Beauty Development Week will last seven days, during which the Cosmetics Technology International Summit Forum will be held, training on cosmetics laws and regulations will be organized, and a series of "Huangpu Beauty" magazines will be published to comprehensively enhance the international influence of Huangpu's beauty industry.

The Huangpu International Beauty and Health Industry High-quality Development Activity Week is launched in Guangzhou Science City.
