Huangpu island grouping to be transformed

Huangpu district released a draft of the Guangzhou Pearl River International Slow Island General Development Plan (2022-2035), which is a blueprint for the future development of the Changzhou Island Grouping.

The Changzhou Island Grouping, which connects the waterway before and after the Pearl River, has a rich history and culture. Now, it is set to be developed into the Guangzhou Pearl River International Slow Island.

The island grouping contains five islands, which are Changzhou, Hongshengsha, Dajisha, Emeisha, and Dahaosha, with a total land area of about 10 square kilometers.
