Huangpu promotes high-quality development of SMEs

Huangpu district has been actively promoting the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The district has promoted industrial chain investment, gathering enterprises upstream and downstream together. To ensure that Guangzhou CanSemi Technology, a unicorn company, develops at full speed, the Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone has accelerated the construction of a 6.6-square-kilometer semiconductor industrial park. 

The park will be located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and will bring together more than 120 upstream and downstream companies.   

Huangpu has increased its capital investment and promoted investment diversification. At a high-quality development conference, the Guangzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone proposed to set up a 1 billion yuan ($147 million) fund for the high-quality development of SMEs.

In addition, the district has been committed to platform investment and endogenous investment. In recent years, Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology has incubated more than 10 enterprises.
