Metro construction progresses in Huangpu

During the third session of the 16th Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress on Jan 7, Guangzhou mayor Guo Yonghang gave a government work report detailing the progress of metro construction work in Huangpu district.

To date, 91 percent of the structural engineering of the eastern extension of Metro Line 5 (Wenchong-Huangpu Passenger Port) have been completed, while 90 percent of the structural engineering of the second phase of Metro Line 7 (University Town South-Shuixi North) have been completed.

In addition, 60 percent of the structural engineering of Metro Line 12 (Xunfenggang-University Town South) have been completed, while 62 percent of the structural engineering of the second phase of Line 13 (Chaoyang-Yuzhu) have been completed.
