Huangpu decides main goals for 2023

Huangpu will make every effort to promote high-quality economic development and rapid growth, as well as to become a powerful manufacturing district in 2023.

Investment attraction is also the main focus for Huangpu, as the district will continue to implement the reform of its business environment this year. It will strive to sign more than 400 industrial projects,  as well as add more than 10 new projects worth 10 billion yuan ($1.48 billion).

At the same time, Huangpu will complete 233 major projects with an investment of 72.5 billion yuan throughout the year.

Focusing on sci-tech innovation, Huangpu will strive to add more than 200 high-tech enterprises. In addition, it will select and identify more than 400 gazelle enterprises, more than five unicorn enterprises, and more than five academician projects.

Huangpu will boost consumption and promote development through talent. It will also strive to become a platform for innovative and entrepreneurial talents in Guangzhou.
