Huangpu accelerates approval process of industrial projects

Huangpu district issued several measures for Huangpu district and the Guangzhou Development District to streamline approval requirements and optimize the approval process for industrial construction projects on Jan 6.

Shan Ningwei, director of the Guangzhou Development District administrative examination and approval bureau, said that the 10 measures cover three aspects: process optimization, streamlining and acceleration, and service guarantee, to further accelerate the approval speed of industrial projects, thus promoting the development of the real economy.

Huangpu district has invested 49.94 billion yuan ($7.35 billion) into industrial investments in 2022, an increase of 23.1 percent from the previous year, accounting for 46 percent of Guangzhou's total industrial investment.

Huangpu district issues several measures for Huangpu district and the Guangzhou Development Zone to further reform the administrative approval system for industrial construction projects.
