Huangpu named excellent case in Guangzhou for beauty, cosmetic policy

The Detailed Rules for Implementing Measures of Guangzhou Huangpu District and Guangzhou Development District for the Promotion of High-Quality Development of the Beauty and Cosmetics Industry policy interpretation case materials were recently selected for the Guangzhou 2022 Policy Interpretation Excellent Case Collection.

This now ranks as one of four excellent cases of policy interpretation among district-level governments in Guangzhou and is the only case in Huangpu that has been rated among the top 10 in the city.

As a groundbreaking regional beauty industry policy in China, the detailed rules are helping to achieve a new level of support and match-making within the beauty industry chain. They also promote enterprises to actively participate in researching new raw materials and technology and help to realize the localization and large-scale industrialization of high-quality and functional new raw materials for cosmetics products.

Such a policy is conducive to cultivating and expanding internationally renowned local independent brands. It is also helping more domestic beauty enterprises to venture overseas with beauty products bearing national characteristics.
