Huangpu holds history contest before 20th CPC National Congress

To welcome the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC, Huangpu held a history-themed competition that ended on Oct 10 at Guangzhou Science City.

During the final round of the competition, nine outstanding competitors followed the theme of "Welcoming the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC," vividly telling the history of Huangpu district, as well as the story of innovation and entrepreneurship in modern China. The competition's live stream attracted more than 100,000 viewers.

This competition was part of the series of activities for "new era civilization practice" in Huangpu district that was launched in August, which aims to cultivate public enthusiasm for the country, its history, as well as its culture. 

It also encouraged people to strive to be the inheritors of history and culture, the practitioners of the Huangpu spirit, as well as to welcome the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC.
