132nd Canton Fair to be held online in October

The 132nd session of the China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will kick off online on Oct 15. This upcoming fair will feature more exhibitors and their online displays will be available until March 15, 2023, said Wang Shouwen, Chinese vice minister of commerce, at a press conference on Sept 27.

This session of the Canton Fair will continue to set up 50 exhibition sections for 16 categories of commodities. It will partner with China's 132 cross-border e-commerce pilot zones and five cross-border e-commerce platforms, as well as with enterprises in the freight forwarders, finance, credit insurance, certification, and shipping services sectors.

According to Wang, there are nearly 10,000 companies that have signed up to participate in the online exhibition, including high-tech companies and leading manufacturing enterprises.
