China's 1st foreign patent agency office opens in Huangpu

The Guangzhou representative office of French company Norwa was recently approved by the intellectual property rights office of the Guangzhou administration for market regulation and has completed its establishment and registration to settle in Huangpu district.

This is also the first resident representative office of a foreign patent agency in China that has completed its establishment and registration.

In the future, Guangzhou's Huangpu district will focus on building a national knowledge center with global influence, as well as further deepen the comprehensive reform of intellectual property utilization and protection.

China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is the only comprehensive reform pilot zone for intellectual property utilization and protection approved by the State Council.
