Huangpu talent makes breakthroughs in bio-additives

Yuan Yuyu, a talent from Huangpu district, founded Medprin, built a regenerative medicine technology platform based on 3D printing technology, as well as realized the industrialization of domestic bio-additives with artificial meninges.

Fourteen years ago, Yuan returned to China from overseas to start his business. Since then, he has forged a road to the industrialization of innovative achievements in the field of implantable medical devices that had previously been monopolized by countries in the West.

The artificial meninges developed by Medprin are composed of tens of thousands of layers of nanofiber membranes and their structure is similar to the microscopic structure of the human body's meningeal tissue. The three-dimensional structure resembles a scaffold for fibroblasts and blood vessels to crawl around, allowing them to quickly repair the missing meninges.

Today, Medprin's business has reached more than 80 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, as well as other places.
