Huangpu issues measures to optimize tax business environment

Huangpu district, or Guangzhou Development District, recently released 10 measures for optimizing the tax business environment.

The 10 measures cover four aspects, namely tax reductions and fee reductions, intelligent and efficient tax payments, accurate and effective classified services, as well as integrated and coordinated tax management.

The tax business environment is an important part of the business environment.  Accelerating the construction of smart taxation services is also an important part of Guangzhou's construction of a national business environment innovation pilot city.

On the basis of the current tax payment system, Huangpu will handle 390 online tax-related matters, such as tax registration and cancellation, tax declaration for equity transfer, as well as tax refunds and offsets for wrongful collection and over-payment, within an hour.

Huangpu will also put forward the characteristic measures of "customized service to help large enterprises," "exclusive service to support small and medium-sized enterprises," as well as "integrated service to promote the development of the industry" based on the precise needs of enterprises, so that tax and fee services can be closer to the demands of enterprises.

Based on regional development, Huangpu will deepen international tax services, as well as cooperate with market supervision and management, technology, finance, and justice institutions to create a first-class tax business environment.
