Huangpu launches Guangdong's 1st smart sensor industrial park

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Smart Sensor Industrial Park.

The first phase of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Smart Sensor Industrial Park was completed in May 2022, with its two main buildings currently in the pre-investment stage.

The industrial park is located on the north side of the Guangzhou's artificial intelligence and digital economy pilot zone, with a total area of about 107,900 square meters, a construction area of 498,000 sq m, as well as a total investment of about 2.8 billion yuan ($415.5 million). It possesses customized headquarters, product research and development centers, factories, talent apartments, industrial facilities, and living facilities.

In September 2020, Guangdong province, Guangzhou, and Huangpu district launched the joint construction of the industrial park, aiming to build it into a smart sensor industry cluster that radiates nationwide and has international Influence.

Currently, the smart sensor industry in Huangpu is gradually improving. There are more than 10 sensor basic material companies, 15 sensor design, manufacturing, packaging, and testing companies, as well as more than 70 sensor application terminal companies, including well-known enterprises like Yuexin Semiconductor, Gosuncn, and Guangzhou CNC Equipment.

As the first smart sensor industrial park in the province, it has brought significant industrial agglomeration effects. It will form a joint development pattern with China Nano Valley and the headquarters of the Nano Science and Technology Institute.
