The 330-meter Knowledge Tower, a landmark office building in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), had its basement structure fully capped on Aug 6, 48 days ahead of schedule.

At present, the tower's six above-ground floors have been completed, and once operations, the tower will become a new-generation super high-rise with offices and shared spaces.

It will function as an important hub for scientific innovation, urban construction, and intellectual property, as well as talent exchanges and trainings between China and Singapore.

In addition, the first building structure in area B of the new spectrum project that is part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area technology innovation corridor, was capped recently.

Located in southwestern Huangpu, the project borders Central Guangpu Road and Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway in the south, Kezhu Road in the west and Yushu Park in the north. It is about 800 meters away from Shenzhou Road Metro Station.

With an investment of 4.8 billion yuan ($744 million), the project will feature a total floorage of 524,800 square meters for office areas, innovative incubation spaces, accommodations and businesses. The hotels and apartments are in the northern part of the complex, while the business and office areas are in the southern part.
