CSGKC achieves remarkable results

China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), which is part of Guangzhou Development District (GDD), will commemorate the second anniversary of the approval of its long-term development strategy (2020–35) on Aug 26.

CSGKC has achieved remarkable results since it started construction in 2010. It has witnessed a rise of world-class biomedical, integrated circuit and new energy vehicle industrial clusters, which have upgraded the "three clusters and two highlands" development pattern. 

CSGKC has established the first intellectual property mediation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It integrates various IP elements including creation, utilization and protection, to meet the multinational companies' IP needs.

Talent service platforms such as the national offshore youth entrepreneurship center have also been established to gather global high-end knowledge-based talents.

Under the joint promotion of China and Singapore, a 2-square-kilometer China-Singapore science and technology innovation and cooperation demonstration zone has started construction, which has become attractive to both domestic and overseas investors. 

Zheng Yong, director of the CSGKC's development and construction office, said that CSGKC will deepen its international cooperation and opening-up process to create a high-level and competitive highland for innovation and development in the Greater Bay Area.
