CAS academician chosen to guide Huangpu's science development

Huangpu district held a ceremony for the appointment of the president of the Huangpu Youth Academy of Sciences and the awarding of the branch on Aug 4.

Zhao Yuliang, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed the first president of the academy, while Su Guohui and Tang Benzhong, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, will serve as honorary presidents of the academy.

In addition, Huangpu established branches of the academy at 17 locations, with each branch having an academician as its president.
