Guangzhou Metro Line 12 starts track construction

Guangzhou Metro Line 12 recently began track laying and ballasting work, marking the line entering the track construction stage.

Metro Line 12 starts from Xunfenggang Station of Line 6 and ends at University Town South Station of Line 4 and Line 7. The total length of the line is about 37.6 kilometers, all of which are underground lines. It has 25 stations, of which 15 are transfer stations to other lines, while the metro train adopts a six-car foundation.

To date, 45 percent of the civil works have been completed. Of the 25 stations, nine have been capped, 15 are undergoing civil construction, and one is undergoing preliminary preparations.
