Huangpu Laboratory sci-tech association established

The inaugural meeting of the Huangpu Laboratory Science and Technology Association was held in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on July 27, in which the first Huangpu Laboratory Science and Technology Association Committee was elected.

Relying on leading enterprises, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, high-level universities, and other innovative entities, Huangpu Laboratory strives to build a major scientific and technological innovation platform. It is a Guangzhou municipal-level technology business incubator, one of the first three Guangzhou 5G Industrial Parks in Guangzhou, and one of the first three 5G incubation carriers in the Huangpu district, making positive contributions to the construction of an innovative Huangpu.

Members of the Huangpu Laboratory Science and Technology Association include the GBA Research Innovation Institute for Nanotechnology, the GBA Institute of Collaborative Innovation.

The association is committed to cultivating high-level application-oriented talents. It will become a link connecting scientific and technological workers in Huangpu, as well as an important force to promote the scientific and technological progress and technological innovation of Huangpu. It will also serve as an incubator for attracting talents and scientific development, a server for innovation and technology talents, as well as a booster for the innovative and high-end development of enterprises in Huangpu.

The establishment of the association is the first pilot of the top 10 State-owned enterprises in Huangpu district to take the lead in serving scientists. It will better organize and mobilize scientific and technological workers to carry out scientific research and technological innovation, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, as well as promote the improvement of the quality of personnel training and the enhancement of core competitiveness.
