Construction on Huangpu's Metro Line 13 progressing

Construction on the second phase of Metro Line 13 (Chaoyang-Yuzhu) is progressing, with 53 percent of the civil works currently completed.

Five of the line's 23 stations have been capped, 17 are undergoing civil construction, and one station is undergoing preliminary preparations.

Among the 23 sections, five sections and the Huanggang parking lot have been connected, 13 are undergoing civil construction, while the remaining five are undergoing preliminary preparations.

The second phase of Line 13 runs east-west, starting from Chaoyang Station and ending at Yuzhu Station, connecting to the first phase of the project. It mainly passes through the core area of the city, while there are key development areas, such as Zhujiang New Town and Guangzhou International Financial City, planned along the line. 

The second phase of Metro Line 13 is under construction.
