Construction of Southern Beauty Valley in Huangpu picking up pace

The Southern Beauty Valley's Phase I project was capped while its exhibition halls opened on July 19 in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, signifying that the construction of the valley has entered the fast lane.

The 260,000-sq-m Phase I project will be put into operation in batches by the end of this year. In addition, the valley will cover an area of 360,000 sq m with a floorage of 1.7 million sq m, and will be comprised of two functional areas for the R&D center headquarters and industrial bases.

The C-shaped factories in the valley are customized for the high-quality production lines of beauty companies and are expected to provide services covering the full industry and service chains including research, production, inspection, testing and product exhibition, aiming to become the biggest cosmetic industrial park in eastern Guangzhou.

Huangpu district is making efforts to cultivating two to three leading beauty companies with an annual income of over 10 billion yuan ($1 billion), as well as one to three local enterprises with an annual revenue of over 5 billion yuan by 2024.
