3 Huangpu certified entrepreneurship demonstration bases

Three industrial parks in Huangpu district were recently certified as Guangdong Province 2021 Micro and Small-Sized Enterprises Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base for their high-quality incubation services.

A Guangdong Province Micro and Small-Sized Enterprises Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base refers to a place that has been identified by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, which gathers various entrepreneurial innovation service resources to provide effective service support for SMEs. They must have been built or operated by a legal entity, as well as possess more than 30 micro and small-sized enterprises with more than 300 employees.

The three industrial parks to receive this designation were South China New Materials Innovation Park, Nakin High-tech Industrial Park, and Guangzhou Ledy Innovative Science and Technology Park.

Guangzhou South China New Materials Innovation Park Company operates South China New Materials Innovation Park, which is located in Guangzhou Science City and has been in operation since July 2013.

At present, the park has been successfully identified as a national-level technology business incubator, a national-level micro and small-sized enterprises entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base, a China innovation and entrepreneurship achievement fair achievement transformation base, a Guangdong province technology enterprise accelerator, as well as a Guangdong province innovation and entrepreneurship (incubation) demonstration base.

Nakin High-Tech operates Nakin High-tech Industrial Park, which is located in Guangzhou Science City. The park has adopted a whole industrial chain model of "entrepreneurial space+incubator+accelerator+headquarters base."

At present, the park has won the titles of national science and technology business incubator, Guangdong province science and technology enterprise accelerator, Guangdong province service standardization pilot unit, Guangdong province micro and small-sized enterprises entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base, as well as Guangdong province big data industrial park.

Ledy Light operates Guangzhou Ledy Innovative Science and Technology Park, which is a professional incubator for the biomedical industry that opened in 2014. At present, many enterprises with advanced key technology have settled in the park, with the number of high-tech enterprises in the park accounting for more than a quarter of its total.

Industrial parks identified as a Guangdong Province Micro and Small-Sized Enterprises Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base can receive priority to be recommended to apply for being designated a national Micro and Small-Sized Enterprises Entrepreneurship and Innovation Demonstration Base, thus becoming eligible to receive more support from preferential policies.

Huangpu district has been actively launching various preferential policies and measures to vigorously support the development of micro and small-sized enterprises.

It is expected that more micro and small-sized enterprises will grow in Huangpu in the future, bolstering the district's development.
