Guangzhou's Huangpu district has officially debuted multilingual versions of its service webpages for overseas-related affairs, with information in three languages - English, Japanese, and Korean.

The pages contain guidance, online appointment and online processing access of 60 overseas-related government services, which are divided into four categories: Visa, Talent, Business Start-up, and Business Management.

They offer convenient and accurate information for foreign-funded enterprises, overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macao residents, as well as expatriates who live or work in Huangpu, or plan to invest or seek jobs in the district.

Online appointment is available for all services, especially exit and entry affairs, which can effectively avoid people gathering and reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

The webpages have connected the online service reservation system with the district's government service center. After an appointment is submitted successfully, the page will coordinate the staff of the service center and approval departments to prepare for corresponding language service in advance for foreigners and enterprises.

In addition, the multilingual pages adopt a clear and concise page design that are in line with the reading habits of foreigners. Important affairs are highlighted, so that viewers can quickly find what they need on the front page, then follow guidance to complete online appointments step by step.

According to Huangpu government, the launch of these new webpages aims to increase the district's openness to the world, improve its government services and create an internationalized business environment for global enterprises and entrepreneurs.
