Construction of Huangpu's new landmarks moves forward

In the first half of 2022, Huangpu district has made great progress in its project construction, with a number of new landmarks emerging.

The Knowledge Tower is located in the center of the north bank of Jiulong Lake in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City. It is a benchmark project for cooperation between China and Singapore.

With a design height of 330 meters, the project will create a fully new super high-rise office and shared space. It will also become an important platform for China and Singapore to jointly promote the cooperation of the CSGKC in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, urban construction, intellectual property, talent exchange, and training, as well as investment promotion.

The roof of the basement of the Knowledge Tower was capped in March, while construction of the main structure will be accelerated in June. The main structure of the project is projected to be fully capped in 2023.

The total land area of the Knowledge City Plaza project is about 197,000 square meters, and the total construction area is about 708,000 sq m. It will be constructed in four phases. This project is a key project in the intellectual property-led innovation-driven development in the Huangpu district.

The total construction area of the third phase of Knowledge City Plaza is 127,000 sq m. Once its No 20 office building is capped, it will be the tallest building in the third phase of the project, with a height of 96.6 meters.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Sci-tech Finance Center is located to the south of Science Avenue and east of Shenzhou Road. It is a key project of the science and technology financial industry in Huangpu district.

The project covers an area of about 47,000 sq m, with a total construction area of 417,000 sq m. It boasts a total investment of about 8 billion yuan ($1 billion).

Construction on the project began on June 30, 2021. It is expected to be completed in 2023.
