Guangzhou's first cultural industry park, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Digital Cultural Industry Park, has recently begun its transformation, shifting its focus to the metaverse digital cultural industry, local media outlets reported on June 6.

A number of key cultural and financial comprehensive service platforms have started operations to accelerate this transformation.

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Digital Cultural Industry Park is a cultural industry park with cultural technology and creativity as its core industries.

There are many enterprises related to the metaverse digital cultural industry chain in the park, covering many important digital cultural fields like metaverse IP copyright design, metaverse scene creation, cloud computing, VR equipment, online live broadcasting, as well as artificial intelligence.

At present, the total output value of enterprises in the park has exceeded 600 million yuan ($90 million), with the total number of internet views of enterprises in the park exceeding 20 billion.

The Huangpu branch of the Guangzhou Cultural and Financial Service Center has settled in the park. It will build a communication and cooperation platform between cultural enterprises and financial institutions, providing enterprises with services covering investment and financing, training, roadshows, publicity, policy consultation, as well as project declaration counseling.

In addition to meeting the financial needs of enterprises in the park, the center will explore the establishment of a metaverse industrial fund with enterprises in the park in the future.
