New biopharmaceutical base opens in Huangpu's SSGKC

The opening ceremony of the Kangrong East (Guangdong) Pharmaceutical Biopharmaceutical Base located in Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (SSGKC) International Biomedical Innovation Park was held on May 18.

The Kangrong East (Guangdong) Pharmaceutical Biopharmaceutical Base in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) International Biomedical Innovation Park is put into operation on May 18.

Covering an area of about 15,000 square meters and a construction area of about 30,000 sq m, the base aims to develop into a world-class innovative biological drug industrialization production base with a total planned production capacity of 16,000 liters.

Kangrong East (Guangdong) Pharmaceutical was established in December 2016. It is an innovative biopharmaceutical company integrating the development, production, and sales of antibody medicines. The company currently has two products with independent intellectual property rights in the clinical development stage.

This base is an important part of Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Biopharmaceutical Base. The project covers an R&D building, a quality inspection building, raw liquid production workshops, preparation workshops, warehouses, and a power center.

The operation of Kangrong East (Guangdong) Pharmaceutical Biopharmaceutical Base is expected to greatly bolster the development of the SSGKC's biopharmaceutical industry.
