5 Huangpu incubators laud national accolades

The South China Center for Innovative Pharmaceuticals.

Five Huangpu incubators were listed as the 2021 National Science & Technology Enterprise Incubators by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of Ministry of Sciences and Technology, local media outlets reported on April 22.

Twenty-six incubators in Guangdong province made the list and half of them are in Guangzhou. Huangpu ranked first among all districts in the province in terms of all of the incubators. 

The Huangpu incubators include the South China Center for Innovative Pharmaceuticals, Lichuang Cultural Creative Park and Shengli Technology Park. 

The South China Center for Innovative Pharmaceuticals in Guangzhou Science City was established in 2008, which casts eyes on professional services for the innovation of new medicines. It has now incubated more than 150 companies that specialize in biomedical R&D.

Lichuang Cultural Creative Park started operation at the end of 2016 and has eight professional incubation service platforms and online public service platforms such as one for industrial resources matchmaking and one for technological finance.

As of April 2022, Huangpu has 113 science and technology enterprise incubators, and 21 are ranked at the national level and 33 are ranked at the municipal level.
