Construction site of the Knowledge Tower.
The 330-meter Knowledge Tower, a landmark office building in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), is expected to finish construction of its main structure in 2023, with the pouring of concrete for its basement area recently completed two months ahead of schedule, local media outlets reported on March 21.
Upon completion, the tower will become a super high-rise with offices and shared space. It will function as an important hub for scientific innovation, urban construction, and intellectual property, as well as talent exchanges and training between China and Singapore.
An aerial rendering of the Knowledge Tower shows its clover-shape design.
The design of the tower strictly adheres to the height-to-width ratio of other iconic towers and is shaped like a clover.
The building will also become a civic activity center as five distinctive atriums will be built in the tower to provide supporting commercial and living functions.
