GDD improves innovation strength for 1,504 enterprises

Guangzhou Development District (GDD) has recently completed the analysis of the technological innovation attributes for 1,504 cultivated enterprises to help the enterprises improve their innovation strength and be listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. 

The district issued preliminary test reports for enterprises, which were the important achievements of the third phase of the "intellectual property helps science and technology enterprises list" project.

The third phase of the project was launched In October 2021, in which services were upgraded to provide inclusive services to more than 1,000 cultivated enterprises, precise services to 100 potential enterprises, and in-depth services to more than 40 key enterprises.

"Next, we will determine the list of 100 potential companies based on the results of the report and provide them with precise services, such as service agency matchmaking, one-on-one intellectual property diagnosis, and special training to help enterprises pass the initial public offering (IPO) process," said an official of the intellectual property office of Guangzhou Development District.

To date, Guangzhou Development District has completed two phases of listing counseling projects, serving 39 science and technology innovation enterprises in total. It has promoted one enterprise to list on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, as well as assist one enterprise submit to the China Securities Regulatory Commission for guidance and filing. , It has also helped seven enterprises complete the shareholding system transformation, as well as assisted two enterprises raise over 200 million yuan ($31.4 million) in equity financing.
