5 Huangpu incubators make municipal list

Nine incubators made the list of 2021 Guangzhou municipal technological company incubators released by the Guangzhou municipal science and technology bureau, of which five were based in Huangpu district, local media outlets reported on March 3.

Among them were the Creator Industrial Park, Guangzhou Kanret Innovation Park, and Huangpu Laboratory.

Huangpu launched 10 measures to promote the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship incubators in 2021, providing more political support for local incubators. 

To date, Huangpu has formulated the biggest sci-tech company incubators in South China with 63 maker spaces, of which 11 are at the national level. It has also built 112 technological company incubators, including 16 national ones. 

Huangpu is expected to further expand the scale of incubators and apply global leading technologies to become a pioneer in international innovation and entrepreneurship. It also plans to construct incubators for emerging industries.
