Smart platform aids Huangpu's fight against COVID-19

The CPC Huangpu district committee and district people's government have established a comprehensive command platform for intelligent epidemic prevention and control.

The platform integrates epidemic data, the surveillance videos of all eight hotels for centralized quarantine, risk screening, remote video conferences, personnel allocation and more.

For example, the platform can identify people in areas with a high infection risk, inappropriate mask wearing and inappropriate waste disposal by using an artificial intelligence algorithm. It will then send warnings to on-site staff. 

In addition, information on the occupancy status of guestrooms in the eight hotels for centralized quarantine, the number of people in the guestrooms, and where they traveled from can also be acquired at the terminals.

Local authorities can also inspect anti-epidemic work online and hold video conferences to avoid mass gatherings and infections.
