Key industrial projects herald construction progress in Huangpu

Construction of many key industrial projects including those invested by Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings, Gosuncn Technology Group, and BeiGene in Guangzhou's Huangpu district has made great progress recently.

The R&D and sales headquarters of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings was topped off on Dec 23. With a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan ($172.6 million), the facility will consist of an R&D platform for innovative drugs and medical equipment, an international medical cooperation and exchange center, a science and technology incubator, and an innovation and entrepreneurship base.

The R&D and sales headquarters of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings is topped off on Dec 23.

Moreover, the construction of the industrial park for Gosuncn Technology Group in the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City started recently. Once the construction is complete, the industrial park will assist Gosuncn with in-depth integration of its businesses related to internet of vehicles, public security, smart city, and transport.

The leading domestic biotechnology company BeiGene launched a 10,000-square-meter innovation center on Guangzhou International Bio Island on Dec 20. The innovation center will focus on cultivating entrepreneurship for new biotech companies with a passion for transformative medicines, diagnostics and medical devices that can help address unmet needs, and advancing breakthrough innovations from early discovery until global access.
