Construction of many projects in Guangzhou's Huangpu district has made great progress this year.
The Research Institute of Tsinghua in Pearl River Delta has seen its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area innovation base in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City accelerate the construction of its main structures.
Covering an area of 24,900 square meters, the innovation base will establish a comprehensive scientific and technological innovation system that integrates an in-depth integration of industry, academia and research integration.

Meanwhile, the first phase of the Greater Bay Area intellectual property innovation center has been topped off. The project features a floorage of 43,000 sq m and is located south of Third Fenghuang Road. It will primarily consist of office areas, apartments, and a shopping mall and is expected to complete construction in September 2022.
The 17,000-sq-m Dongcheng smart manufacturing industrial base has also been topped off. It will focus on the innovation and smart manufacturing of both the upstream and downstream industrial chains of high-end intelligent equipment.
Construction of a large-scale aircraft tire science facility has been advancing smoothly with the completion of its initial area. Once the project becomes operational, it will have six major sections including an academician exchange center, scientific research areas for advanced materials, and office and logistic areas.
