2 Huangpu enterprises receive green product design honors

Two enterprises from Guangzhou's Huangpu district have recently been selected among the third group of demonstrative enterprises for their green designs of industrial products by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The recognition requires enterprises to have strong technological R&D and innovation capabilities, and maintain an updated portfolio of green design products. In addition, their green design products should lead the industry in revenue and sales volume.

Hitachi Elevator (Guangzhou) received the green product design honor for adopting ecofriendly materials, low energy consumption equipment and green manufacturing technology in pursuit of sustainable development. The enterprise ranked third in the industry in terms of market share, and its products are widely used in metros, airports, shopping malls and hotels.

Blue Moon is a domestically leading provider of home cleaning solutions.

As a leading provider of home cleaning solutions, Blue Moon was selected in the group for putting great importance on making their products eco-friendly. It released the Supreme biotechnology liquid laundry detergent in 2018, which was listed among the fifth group of green design products by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The company then rolled out its Tianlu utensil, fruit and vegetable wash in 2019, which reduces the dosage needed for washing by 67 percent compared with national standards.
