18 Huangpu enterprises pioneer new economy development

Eighteen enterprises from Guangzhou's Huangpu district have been selected among the top 50 new economy pioneer enterprises in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area this year.

The selection was jointly conducted by the Greater Bay Area Scientific and Technological Innovation Service Center, KPMG China, and Guangdong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. They scored the enterprises based on aspects ranging from technological innovation capability, future growth potential and comprehensive operation as well as management capability and financing capability.

A presenter gives an overview of the procedures of the top 50 new-economy pioneer enterprises selection.

The top 50 new economy pioneer enterprises are from a wide range of areas including the digital economy, software, smart manufacturing equipment, biomedicine, healthcare and new materials. Thirty-eight of them engage in high-tech industries, accounting for 78 percent of the total.

Sixty-eight percent of the entries are from Guangzhou, 26 percent are from Shenzhen, and 2 percent are from Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Dongguan.

The Huangpu entries include Accurate Biotechnology, Vision Medicals, Poi-Tech, Saite Intelligence Technology, Raynovent Biotech, TipDM Intelligent Technology and Leide Bioscience.
