Hengsha Digital Economy Industrial Park tops off Phase I

Phase I of Hengsha Digital Economy Industrial Park recently topped off its major structure.

Covering 10.91 hectares, the industrial park boasts a total floor area of nearly 500,000 square meters, of which the first phase occupies 80,000 sq m. It will house both Guangdong Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park and Guangzhou Industrial Software Industrial Park.

A ceremony is held to mark the topping off of the Hengsha Digital Economy Industrial Park's Phase I.

Guangdong Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park covers 107,900 square meters north of Guangzhou's artificial intelligence and digital economy pilot zone (Yuzhu) at a cost of 2.68 billion yuan ($418.7 million). With a total floorage of 498,000 square meters, it is comprised of headquarters, product R&D centers, high-rise factories, talent apartments and support facilities.

The Guangzhou Industrial Software Industrial Park is to seize vibrant market demands due to the structure upgrading and the transformation of the manufacturing sector and the digital transformation of enterprises. It will push forward the rise of new-type industrial software in Guangzhou with enhanced innovation capabilities and competitiveness.
