3 Huangpu biomedicine enterprises enter innovation competition final

Three enterprises from Guangzhou's Huangpu district entered the national final of the 10th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition under the biomedicine category after rounds of regional and national selections.

The three entries are Guangzhou Lupeng Pharmaceutical, Guangzhou Magpie Pharmaceuticals, and Accurate Biotechnology.

The China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is the largest, highest-grade and most influential of its kind in the country. This year, a total of 33,289 enterprises took part in the competition, of which 4,931 are from the biomedicine sector.

Only 340 enterprises entered the national competition under the biomedicine category that took place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from Oct 11 to 13 and 12 made it to the national final.

The pre-final awards ceremony for the national selection of the 10th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition unfolds in Hangzhou.

The Huangpu science and technology bureau has organized a series of training sessions, roadshow rehearsals, and one-to-one tutoring for 42 local enterprises that entered the national finals under the biomedicine, new-generation information technology, new materials, new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing categories to help them enhance competitiveness.
