Huangpu hosts 61 of Guangzhou's leading private enterprises

Sixty-one Huangpu enterprises have been selected as the leading private enterprises in Guangzhou this year.

The selection, which started in June, has a high threshold for entries. Enterprises must have an annual operating revenue of more than 300 million yuan ($47 million) last year to qualify. The amount could be lowered to 100 million yuan for exceptional enterprises that meet certain qualifications. 

For example, private enterprises that have been listed, ranked among China's top 100 in software and electronic information sectors, and have garnered State Science and Technology Progress Awards or State Technological Invention Awards over the past three years would be recognized directly.

The recognized enterprises will be promoted in casebooks, training sessions and public service advertisements and the government will keep in close communication with them to help solve their development difficulties and problems.

The Huangpu entries include Guangzhou Xiangxue Pharmaceutical, Kingfa Sci & Tech, Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology, and Guangzhou Wondfo Biotech.
