42 Huangpu enterprises stand out at innovation, entrepreneurship contest

Forty-two enterprises from Guangzhou's Huangpu district stood out in the Guangdong division at the 10th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition and entered a national face-off, accounting for more than 60 percent of Guangzhou's total entries and over 30 percent of Guangdong's total.

The Huangpu entries include Guangzhou Pulisi Technology, FineTooling Technology, Guangzhou Zhiyi Biotech, Guangzhou Magpie Pharmaceuticals, BD Life Science and Guangdong TipDM Intelligent Technology.

These enterprises are from a wide variety of sectors including high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, new-generation information technology, biomedicine, new materials, and energy conservation and environmental protection.

The China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. It is the largest and most influential sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship competition in the country.
