CSGKC magnet for high-level talents

The university research institutes in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City have so far gathered 21 academicians, more than 300 full-time staff members and over 3,400 postgraduate and doctoral students.

Many of the faculty members are academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chang Jiang Scholars, and recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

The Guangzhou Research Institute of Xidian University has applied for 184 scientific research projects, of which 30 have been approved. It has undertaken 27 projects worth 44.39 million yuan ($6.87 million) from enterprises and set up joint research centers in collaboration with seven enterprises.

The Huangpu Research Institute of Guangzhou University has chaired 11 projects under the national key R&D plan and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, produced more than 40 major scientific and technological achievements, released more than 30 papers at top-level conferences or in top-level periodicals related to cyberspace security and artificial intelligence.

The Huangpu Research Institute of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies has published six papers on high-level social sciences citation indexed periodicals and submitted 139 reports to central and Guangdong governments for decision-making consultation.
