IC innovation, entrepreneurship contest open to applications

The 2021 China Internet Development Innovation and Investment Competition & 2021 China Integrated Circuit Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition began receiving applications on Sept 13.

The competition is open to enterprises and teams from the entire IC industrial chain. Those with technological innovation and high-growth potential are welcomed.

A total of 24 to 32 projects can enter the semi-final and receive instructions from four tutor teams after the first round of competition. Then 12 to 16 projects will be screened out for the final in Guangzhou's Huangpu district next month.

A panel of 50 IC technology, application and investment experts will select the top 10 projects based on their roadshows, Q&As and tutor opinions.

The event will recognize a grand prize winner, a first prize winner, three second prize winners and five third prize winners, which will share an investment fund of 14 billion yuan ($2 billion) and be recommended to settle in Huangpu.

Organizers of the event include China Internet Development Foundation, China Internet Investment Fund and the Huangpu district government (Guangzhou Development District Administrative Committee).
