Huangpu launches intelligent sensor, industrial software industrial parks

Plaques for Guangdong Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park and Guangzhou Industrial Software Industrial Park were unveiled in Guangzhou's Huangpu district at the 2021 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Micronano Sensor Conference on Sept 8.

Guangdong Intelligent Sensor Industrial Park is Guangdong's first intelligent sensor industrial park that serves the Greater Bay Area. Costing 2.68 billion yuan ($416 million), it covers 107,900 square meters north of Guangzhou's artificial intelligence and digital economy pilot zone (Yuzhu).

With a total floorage of 498,000 square meters, the industrial park is comprised of a headquarters, production R&D centers, high-rise factories, talent apartments and support facilities.

Li Honglang, vice president of Cannano, which is a national nanotechnology innovation research institute in the Greater Bay Area, noted the industrial park will form a significant part of the intelligent sensor industrial chain in the Pearl River Delta. 

The Guangzhou Industrial Software Industrial Park was established to seize vibrant market demands due to the structure upgrading and the transformation of the manufacturing sector and the digital transformation of enterprises. It will push forward the rise of new-type industrial software in Guangzhou with enhanced innovation capabilities and competitiveness.
