Guangzhou will launch six autonomous driving bus routes across the city, of which two will be in Huangpu district.
The operation plan for the autonomous driving bus routes was approved at an executive meeting by the Guangzhou municipal people's government on Sept 1. It will become the largest demonstrative operation project for intelligent connected vehicles in the country.
A total of 50 autonomous driving buses will be deployed on six routes at Yuzhu Software CBD Headquarters, International Biomedicine Value Innovation Park, Zhujiang New Town, Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, Canton Tower and Tianhe Software Park.
